I was not suffering from dengue, dengue was suffering from me, says Kavita Kaushik

Kavita Kaushik
Kavita Kaushik, aka tough talking cop Chandramukhi Chautala of SAB TV’s FIRfame, was admitted to a hospital recently after she complained of uneasiness and fever. After a series of tests it was revealed that the actress was suffering from dengue.
“I was bit by some macchar in the month of September and I had to be admitted to a hospital. It was dengue,” confirmed the actress.
One would usually feel low, dejected, crumpled when suffering from high-fever. But this actress with sexy legs went through a different gamut of emotions altogether. In fact, she told Tellychakkar that she is happy that she suffered from dengue.
“I loved the phase in hospital. Thanks to the disease, I finally got some time to rest and chill out. I had a sea-facing room with a beautiful view. I watched TV and relaxed all day. It was wonderful. Actually, I think I was not suffering from dengue, dengue was suffering from me,” says Kavita with a sunshine smile.
Kavita was away from the sets of FIR for 5 days. And when she returned her co-actors were both happy and shocked to see her. “Everyone was happy to see me back but shocked to see me go thin and lanky. They said kitni patli ho gayi hain, khaana khilao isko. Since then I have been eating and I have gained a lot of weight. I actually miss my dengue days,” said the tough Chandramukhi Chautala.
We also talked to Kavita’s co-star and right hand in the show Kiku Sharda aka Gulgule who said that he missed her a lot. “When she returned from the hospital she looked weak so we wanted her to get back to her usual tough avatar. Kavita is a sport and a bundle of energy. She is still a bit weak but she smiles and entertains everyone. We all love her a lot.”
Well, ek macchar aadmi ko changa bana deta hain!

Mrignayni and Purushdutt to die in Chandragupta Maurya

Yashashree Masurkar and Romanch Mehta
Big twist awaits the viewers of Imagine’s Chandragupta Maurya in the upcoming episodes. Pivotal characters Mrignayani (Yashashree Masurkar) and Purushdutt (Romanch Mehta) are all set breathe their last in the show.
In the show, Chandragupta (Ashish Sharma) has finally managed to reach the place where Chanakya (Manish Wadhwa) has been imprisoned. However, a source from the sets informed that in the upcoming episodes Mrignayni will commit suicide and Purushdutt will also breathe his last in an attempt to save Chanakya. But at the end, Chandragupta will finally manage to rescue Chanakya from Dhanananda’s clutches.
Yashashree Masurkar who portrays the role of princess Mrignayani has already shot the death sequence. She told Tellychakkar that Mrignayani’s character was supposed to be an important and long one initially, but it was cut short and now she is making an exit.
“It’s just that as an actor I felt my character did not have much to do in a male-dominated show. Hence, I preferred to walk out,” informed Yashashree.
We also talked to Romanch but he preferred to keep mum on the development.
Furthermore, the source informed that the story which initially deviated from its main plot will now re-focus on Chandragupta, Chanakya and Dhanananda. Viewers will once again get to witness the teacher-student relationship between Chanakya and Chandragupta.

Who let the dogs out, cries Ankit Bathla

Ankit Bathla
Ankit Bathla aka Ayush of Hamari Saas Leela had a real un‘canny’ moment yesterday. The actor was attacked viciously by a dog during the shoot.
Here’s what we came to know. The actor was to shoot a scene wherein he had to tame a dog that was let loose on the principal of the college by Anokhi (Swati Kapoor). However, while the scene was being shot the dog attacked and bit Ankit on his right hand.
The dog managed to tear through the overcoat and a T-shirt that Ankit was wearing. The canine menace also scratched his right leg.
The actor, who maintained a calm-head during the incident, was rushed to a nearby hospital for vaccination. An eye witness recounts, “The dog got furious all of a sudden and attacked Ankit but he did not react much or hit the dog. He kept his cool and tried to control the situation. Owner of the dog finally came in and took the dog away.”
We talked to Ankit who said in a grimaced tone, “Yes, I was bitten by a dog yesterday on the sets and I had to take injections. But no hard feelings as I love animals.”
On a lighter note the actor added, “Well, more than the dog bite it’s the pain of injections that’s killing me.”
Well, we can’t help but feel sorry for the actor. Whoever thought that it’s only fun to be an actor…
