Bigg Boss contestant Gulabo Sapera has been eliminated from the house. She is the third contestant to bid adieu to the show after Nihita Biswas and Sonika Kaliraman. Gulabo has earned global fame for her Kalbelia dance–the traditional, celebratory dance of the snake charmers of Rajasthan. She started her career from the Pushkar Fair in 1980 by Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation and didn’t look back since then.

Gulabo talks to Tellychakkar and shares her experience in the Bigg Boss house. Excerpts from the interview…

How do you feel after being eliminated?

Bura to lagega hi. I entered the house to win the competition but got eliminated in two weeks. Bahut kuch karna baki tha abhi. I am upset, but none has a say in front of God’s will.

How was your experience in the house?

It was a mixed experience. I had few lovely moments like riding a rickshaw, dancing with other contestants, washing dishes as per a task, and many more. But I also learnt that one should not trust people completely. They can backstab.

Whom did you become friends with?

No one. Initially, Lakshmi, Mahek, Pooja (Bedi) all talked to me very nicely but they are the ones who nominated me later. So you can’t really make true friends in the house. However, I liked Sonika a lot. I liked the way she talked to me.

Whom did you absolutely hate in the house?

I didn’t hate anyone. All are good people but has different temperaments. I didn’t like the way Pooja Missra talked and her way of living. Shakti Kapoor could have saved me but he kept on nominating me. So, I don’t like him either.

Given a chance, will you go back to Bigg Boss house?

Absolutely. Mein ek bar fir se janaa chahti hoon. So much more has to be done. I was in the house to prove the world that it doesn’t mater if you are from a village or a city, women can be strong and opinionated irrespective of the background. I want a chance to get back to the house.

What after Bigg Boss?

I will continue with my dancing and I am planning to open a school in my village in Pushkar.

It is love and Buddhism for Ravi Dubey

Ravi Dubey is climbing the popularity chart with his spirited portrayal of Tej in Sony’s Saas Bina Sasural. However, the actor was not so tej (pun intended) in his teenage days but an insecure boy. It was only during his first year in Engineering when he learned the way to live life, as per the actor.

Ravi was going through a rough patch in life when a close friend of him introduced him to Buddhism. Since then, Ravi has been practicing the religion for more than seven years now. “Yes, I follow Buddhism. It gives me inner strength,” says the actor.

Earlier Ravi used to be very adamant. He failed to complete Engineering and then took up acting. “I believe it is because of Buddhism that I have become successful in acting. It taught me how to appreciate life and live happily.”

Ravi also spoke about his relationship with beautiful Sargun Mehta. He said he is happy with the way things have been shaping up between the two. However, he still needs to do that one thing which will complete the relationship.

“You won’t believe that I am yet to propose Sargun. I have not planned how to propose her but one day I will do it,” says the actor.

To find other side of the story we also talked to Sargun. “Yes, he hasn’t proposed to me yet and I hate him for that (laughs). But he is a very good partner and I am lucky to have him. I can see a long road for both of us.”

Ravi has Buddhism and love. He has the two most necessary things for a peaceful life. What next? We hope not pravachans.

Nishant Shokeen to enter Choti Bahu; More drama in maha episode

Zee TV’s Choti Bahu is all set for a bigger twist. A new character is entering the show who will turn Barkha’s (Benaf Dadachandji) life topsy-turvy. Nishant Shokeenwho was seen in Zee TV’s Mera Naam Karegi Roshan is now making a come back after a sabbatical of 7 months. With his entry in the maha episode on 16 October viewers are in for a big twist in the tale.

“I’ll be entering Choti Bahu as Lord Krishna,” confirmed Nishant. However, the actor was initially apprehensive to take up the role as he was reluctant to wear Lord Krishna’s costume.

“I was initially uneasy but later agreed as there is a mystery element about my character which is yet to be unveiled. So I am excited about it,” informed the actor but refused to divulge any further.

Nishant had been holidaying in US after his show Mera Naam Karegi Roshan. He opted for Choti Bahu as he is happy to be a part of his favourite channel (Zee TV) once again.

“I am happy with my role and glad to be a part of Zee TV again. Soon there will be a high-point in the show and the creative team is banking on my entry,” said Nishant.

Nishant’s entry will be during the maha episode on 16 October and a source from the sets informs us about the track. Viewers have seen that Radhika (Rubina Dilaik) has come back home and the entire family is happy that she is alive. Barkha is stunned to see her as she had brutally murdered her.

As per the source, in the upcoming maha episode Barkha will confess to Maheshwari (Pragati Mehra) that she had killed Radhika and the woman present in the house is not Radhika but her evil spirit. Maheshwari will get scared and will plan a Bhagavad Gita path in order to get rid of the spirit. However, she will be unaware that Radhika is not a ghost but an incarnation of Lord Krishna.

Furthermore, Barkha will once again plan to kill Radhika but all her attempts will turn futile and she will meet with an accident. During the Bhagavad Gita pathRadhika will turn into Lord Krishna’s avatar, further informed the source.

Well, let’s hope that Nishant’s entry and this captivating track will keep the viewers on the edge of their seats.

Amit Tandon learning to strike the right notes

Amit Tandon of Indian Idol fame is going back to his roots. The crooner turned actor was one of the 11 finalists of Indian Idol. Later he saw seen doing many stage performances and even cut an album with Tips called Tanha in 2008. His popularity post Indian Idol bagged him a role in Balaji’s Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hai where he shared screen space with Iqbal Khan and Neha Bamb.

Amit always cherished the dream of becoming a movie star. In pursuit of it he took up TV projects after gaining popularity through his soulful renditions in Indian Idol. But now he seems to be getting back to singing.

The actor has started taking classical singing lessons from a renowned artist Muhammad Tahir ul-Qadri. Muhammad has mentored none other than the king of melodies Sonu Niigaam.

“Yes, I am taking classical singing lessons from Tahir saab. He is a great mentor and I am blessed to be with him,” confirmed the actor.

Does it mean that he is taking a break from acting? “Well, as far as my acting is concerned I am always open to doing good roles. I am practicing singing that doesn’t mean that I will not be doing acting anymore. I will soon be back on the small screen.”

For information, we have already reported that Amit will be seen in Ratna Sinha’s upcoming show Khel Khel Mein.

So, Amit is treading the versatile path. Singing, acting and may be he will enter directing next. Everything is possible in the magical world of TV.

I am still in love with Kritika, says Karan Kundra

Certain sections of the media reported that hot couple Karan Kundra and Kritika Kamra has decided to part ways. The two actors who got close during the shoot ofKitani Mohabbat Hai on Sony have always been open about their relationship. The news of the split wrapped their fans in a blanket of despair.

However, there is no need to press the panic button. Karan talked to Tellychakkar and cleared the air. “The news is hogwash. Kritika and I are very much in love and nothing has happened between us. People should not believe in such rumours.”

Karan added that he has been away from Mumbai for more than two and a half months now as he kept busy shooting for his film Pure Punjabi in Chandigarh.

“I have been away from the city. So we were not spotted together for a long time. People might have assumed that we have broken up. But this is not true,” clarifies Karan.

In fact, it was Kritika who informed him about the development. “Kritika called and told me about the news that is making rounds. I could do nothing but laugh.”

Karan further added that he will be back in the city in the next couple of days and Kritika and he will be again spotted together.

We tried contacting Kritika but he remained unavailable.

Well, all’s well that ends well! Tellychakkar wishes the couple a happy life ahead.

Rati Pandey turns businesswoman

After sexy sirens of Bollywood, it’s time for television actresses to try their hands in business. Rati Pandey who will now be seen in Trilogy Krikos’ Hitler Didi has now decided to spread her wings and enter food business.

The girl next door and favourite of every teenager, Rati has already partnered with her brother in his construction business. And now she is all set to step her foot in food business.

Rati informed Tellychakkar that apart from being part of the construction business, she also owns a canteen in Patna. And soon she will enter catering business wherein she will supply food at shooting sites all across Mumbai.

“The food on the sets is pathetic, so I have hired two-three chefs to serve better food. I already have three contracts in my kitty,” informs the actress.

Rati is a great cook and her friends can’t stop praising her. The actress said that being a television actor she has ample time to indulge in other business apart from acting.

“Many actors are doing business now. Kitne saal tak acting karte rahenge. The thought of entering food business was always there in my mind and so I said let’s start a canteen business.”

The actress has the entire business precisely planned. She has hired a staff of good chefs who will look after the business.

“I have an efficient staff and I will personally look after the business. In fact I have asked my production house to allot me some free time so that I can start my business. After all, it’s my priority since it will be long-running venture for me,” ends the beautiful actress.
