Jennifer Winget the woh in the pati-patni split?

Jennifer Winget
Karan and Shraddha’s marriage has soured and fingers are pointing to more than ‘woh’ in the sordid tale. TellyChakkar broke the news on the fallout between the just-married couple. But as reported there were not just two but three people who were responsible for this mess. Now we unveil the probable third angle to this triangle.
As sources informed on choreographer Nicole being the raison de etre for the split it was heard from other quarters that Karan was not just seeing Nicole but even a TV actress. A source informs that the hunk was also in a relationship with his Dill Mill Gayye co-star Jennifer Winget. Apparently, even while Karan and Shraddha were in a steady relationship he was having an affair with Jennifer. He even promised marriage to her and Winget was sure of him fulfilling his promise. According to sources, out of all his flings, Jennifer’s was the strongest one and it is this relationship that drew Sharaddha and Karan apart forever. Jennifer and Karan were seen as wife and husband on Balaji Telefilms’ Kasautii Zindagi Kay.
Informs a source from the sets of the show, “Karan had a brief romantic liaison with his choreographer Nichole from Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa 3, which started on the sets of the show and lasted for a couple of months following Jhalak’s conclusion. The guy during that time was already dating his co-actor Jennifer. Infact, the two developed a liking towards each other during their Kasauti days itself but the show’s conclusion brought an abrupt end to their love story. Later Karan married Shraddha and everything was going fine until Jennifer entered Dill Mill Gayye. The fire was rekindled and the two became serious about each other. They never used to shoot for the show but spent time together in the vanity van. Despite being a much-married man Grover proposed marriage to her. So strong was their relationship that Winget wouldn’t shoot a scene without him and vice-versa. Nicole was just one of the many reasons that developed the crack in the relationship but it was Jennifer who dealt the final blow to Shraddha.”
We sent a text message to Jennifer Winget inquiring whether or not she was seeing Karan. She replied saying, “No.”
We also sent a text message to Shraddha Nigam but she didn’t reply.
But the man who is responsible for this mess, Karan remains out of the scene as is phone has been ‘temporarily disconnecte

The Ankita and Sushant love story gone sour

Sushant Singh Rajput,Ankita lokhand,Pavitra rishta
Now this is a typical filmy love triangle. The leads of Pavitra Rishta Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande were dating each other since the time their serial began. In fact the couple was so made-for-each-other that the buzz has it that even Ankita’s mom had given her nod of approval to the couple. But unfortunately things went kaput and Sushant went back to his old flame, Amrita who is an aspiring model.
To throw some more light to this love story we take you back in time to Ankita’s life when she was doing Zee Cinestars ki khoj. The actress was then dating her co-contestant Bharat Chawda (who is currently playing Shashank in Bandini) for almost three years and everybody expected them to even get married.
But fate had other things in store and Ankita moved on from Bharat to Sushant. And now Sushant dumps Ankita to return to former love.
But as the saying goes, hell has no fury like a woman scorned and Ankita is fuming and how. Sources inform that the actress is now out to get back her love and has vowed to get Sushant back in her life. As we keep guessing what her next move will be and whether Sushant returns to her only time will tell. And who is Bharat dating? We hear that currently the actor is not in a relationship.
When contacted, Sushant Singh said, “There is nothing like it. Ankita was my girlfriend’s colleague who is a model by profession (Sushant refused to divulge his girlfriend’s name).”
When asked if they were in a relationship before he said, “There were rumours that we were dating but there is no truth to it.”
Despite repeated attempts Ankita Lokhande remained unavailable.
With so much happening for the moment all we can say is that this is a script waiting to be written. Don’t be surprised if you see it soon on your screen.

Going strong: Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput

Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput
As goes the clichéd pattern, celebs always go on the denial mode when queried about their off screen chemistry with co-stars. So is the case with Pavitra Rishta’slead Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput who have never admitted being a couple. However their co-actors and unit members vouch for their off-screen proximity.
Sources from the sets claim that the two are very much romantically involved and are seeing each other. It’s also tipped that both the families are aware of their relationship and they have secretly flagged the green sign.
A source claims, “All this while Sushant has been denying his relationship with Ankita Lokhande but they are definitely together. Their relationship is not just limited to each other but they also are very close to each other’s families. Recently, Ankita’s mother had come down from her hometown to Mumbai and had visited the sets of the show. Ankita’s mother looked comfortable in Sushant’s company and reciprocated by showering love and warmth on him and the two got along like a house on fire. She got home-cooked food for both Ankita and Sushant and was even spotted feeding Rajput with her hands. The buzz about their affair followed by their break-up is fake and cooked up by the actor himself as they are very much together right from the day one of the shoot.”
Well sticking to the archaic ethos, Ankita denies, “No, its nothing like that. We are just friends. I don’t know who is fanning such rumours as there is no romantic association, whatsoever.”
Sushant too dittoed his lady love and put up the front, “No, it’s completely untrue.”
Hey guys, think you need to take leaf out of your Bollywood counterparts’ book who don’t even blink before getting their partners’ name tattooed on their body!!!

I have never planned things in life : Rajan Shahi

Rajan Shahi
Rajan Shahi entered the world of entertainment as an assistant to producer Ravi Rai. He was actively involved in the creative process of famous serials like Sailaaband Thoda Hai Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai. He moved on and wore the director’s hat in the year 1999 with Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi. After directing path-breaking shows likeJassi Jaisi Koi Nahi, Hamare Tumhare, Rishtey, Kareena Kareena, Reth, Saat Phere, Mamtaa, Millee, Virasaat and Saathi Re he went on to launch his own production house Director’s Kut in 2007. His first production Bidaai not only gained the numbers but also impressed the critics. Now he is making news for his two new interesting shows Havan and Kuch To Log Kahenge
In an exclusive tête-à-tête with Tellychakkar, Rajan talks about his journey, his latest shows and future plans. Excerpts from the interview…
What brought you to the world of entertainment?
My grandfather P. Jairaj was a veteran film-maker. So from the childhood I liked the entire atmosphere of films, shoots, etc. I hail from Delhi and after completing my graduation from Hindu College I shifted to Mumbai in 1993. I was supposed to join an ad agency but then I opted to work with producer Ravi Rai. It was an enlightening experience to work with him. He was not only a producer but also took active interest in writing and directing. Then one thing led to another and I took up directing with Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi in 1999. After directing a few shows I finally launched my production house in 2007.
How much has the scenario changed in the TV industry over the years?
A lot actually. Changes have happened socially, economically and creatively. And today changes are happening rapidly. Over the years shows have transformed from weeklies to dailies. I was not comfortable with the change initially and stayed at home for one and a half years. I thought it was a passing phase. But when I realised that it was developing into a trend I adapted to it but added my own elements. The scenario has changed drastically and it will keep changing in the future. Only worrying factor is the rising lack of stability in the industry. A show can be taken off air within two months of its launch. There is increased pressure and competition has become really high. But if one follows his or her creative instincts then there is nothing to worry about.
What is the process of making a daily soap?
We hit on a concept and work on it in collaboration with the channel. Then a team of writers is brought in. Once the story is in place the next and the most important step is to cast the right actors. Then there is production and post-production.
How did Director’s Kut happen?
I must state that I have never planned anything in life. I have done things instinctively. I had a reputation in the industry as a director. I was successful, financially secure and had credibility in the market. Then came a point in life when I had two choices. I either could have directed a film or produce a TV show. I chose to produce a TV show which was Bidaai under Director’s Kut. I took a calculated risk and it worked. However, I owe a lot to Uday Shankar and Vivek Bahl. They inspired and supported me to produce a show. As a producer I have a lot of creative control and I don’t have to compromise on ideas or plans.
You are a producer but you have also directed shows. How do you balance both the roles?
Now I don’t go on the sets and direct a show. I have a team of directors whom I trust and have complete faith in. Yes I do supervise and remain actively involved in the creative process but I give my team a free hand. When I was a director I had to make a lot of compromises and I don’t want that to happen in my production house. I provide my team with the necessary infrastructure. I am very accessible and anyone can come up to me and talk. I aim to create an environment which helps an individual to grow professionally and personally.
What are the most important milestones of your TV career?
First would be my association with Ravi Rai. I have learnt a lot under him. Second big milestone would be when I launched Director’s Kut. I am proud of all the shows that I have done till now.
How much importance do you give to TRPs?
I agree that TRPs define our destinies. But my job is to come up with a concept which is creative and unique. I don’t know if a show that I am making will gain TRPs or not. If I knew the secret then all my shows would have been amazingly successful. All I can do is to work hard and be sincere towards my vocation.
Do you think people can connect to your new shows Havan and Kuch Toh Log Kahenge?
Absolutely. The best part about Havan’s promotion was that we did not reveal the story. People think it is a religious show but it is all about trust, belief and faith. I give all credit to Ashvini Yardi of Colors for coming up with such a unique show. The show has a fresh texture and has an amazing cast.
Kuch Toh Log Kahenge is an adaptation of famous Pakistani show Dhoop Kinare. The show is fresh and has a different template. I cajoled Kamlesh Pandey to write the script of it. Both the shows will symbolise creativity and brilliance.
Which shows are you watching on television currently?
I rarely get time to watch TV but I like Bade Acche Lagte Hain. I love the way the makers are handling the show. I am also excited about Bigg Boss.
You keep too busy. How do you unwind?
It gets difficult to balance professional and personal life at times. I do tend to crib about the extra work load but I love it at the end of the day. I am in this profession because of choice. However, it’s important to give time to one’s family. I have a 9-year old daughter Ishika with whom I love to spend time. I read a lot and also like to travel.
Any insecurities?
Professionally there is no insecurity as the medium is big enough to accommodate everyone. I have seen lots of ups and downs in my life. There have been times when you are given first seat in a function and there are times when you are not given a seat at all. So it’s a part and parcel of the industry I am in. I have learnt to take rejection as much as relish appreciation. Personally, there are always insecurities but they are too personal to disclose.
Who do you consider as your competitors in the industry?
As I mentioned the industry has enough space for everyone. There has always been competition and there will always be competition but it’s a healthy competition. I don’t see it a negative manner as everyone is trying to work creatively and churn out good shows.
What are your future plans?
I have never planned things in life. I believe that today’s hard work will take care of tomorrow. In the future I want to make more and more TV shows and also do meaningful cinema.

Pooja Missra needs psychiatric treatment : Sonika Kaliraman

Sonika Kaliraman
Indian wrestler Sonika Kaliraman, who is expecting her first child, has voluntarily opted out of Colors’ show Bigg Boss. India’s only female wrestler Sonika entered the Bigg Boss house with a six-month baby bump last week. However, due to the troubled environment in the house she was given an option by the makers of the show to evict the house. She readily agreed and decided to bid adieu to the popular reality show.
Sonika is the daughter of late wrestling master Chandgi Ram and is married to US-based businessman Siddharth Malik. She has also participated in Color’sFear Factor season 2 and Imagine’s Zor Ka Jhatka. In an exclusive interview with Tellychakkar, Sonika shares her experience in the Bigg Boss house and her future plans.
Excerpts from the interview...
How do you feel after getting out of the Bigg Boss house?
Life is peaceful now (sighs). As everybody knows last week was tough for me and my baby. We somehow managed (smiles). I wanted to stay in the house for a longer period but then I thought that nothing is more important than my baby. So I decided to opt out when the option was given to me.
How was your experience in the house?
Oh, it’s an experience of a lifetime. I will always cherish being a part of it. I enjoyed all the fun and frolic in the house. Waking up in the morning with a rocking soundtrack, participating in tasks, is really fun. I was there for only a week and it was just the beginning. Last couple of days of my stay was not that endearing. With all the fights and arguments, I am glad Bigg Boss thought about my condition and granted me freedom (smiles).
What was your reaction when Bigg Boss gave you the privileged option?
It was unexpected. I was called by Bigg Boss along with Shaktiji (Shakti Kapoor) and asked to leave or stay on my own will as the environment in the house was not favourable for the child. I thought about it for a while and decided to leave. I was overwhelmed by the whole situation.
Why did you take up Bigg Boss in the first place?
It was an intriguing offer for me. I am an adventurous person. I would not miss any opportunity where I can prove my worth. I would like to share an anecdote. After my marriage I was supposed to go on my honeymoon but at that very moment I was offered Fear Factor season 2 and I opted for the latter. That’s the way I am. My husband opposed my decision to participate in Bigg Boss as he is possessive about our yet-to-be-born first child. But I managed to convince him. My aim in Bigg Boss was to show the world that women can do whatever they want even in a state of pregnancy.
And how much did you succeed in your aim?
With whatever time I could spend in the house I showed the world that one can be stylish even in the state of pregnancy. I tried to show that women even though being pregnant can be stylish. You can enjoy and have fun and it is not a necessity to be locked in one room for nine months. I guess I did whatever I could. Hope people will appreciate me for this.
Who do you think is the most negative of all contestants?
I found one person who I will not call negative but she needs help. Pooja Missra is a good girl but many a times when I was in the house her behaviour was very repelling. She will start arguing and become sentimental at every small thing. She needs psychiatric treatment.
What do you think about Shakti Kapoor?
Shaktiji is one gem of a person. It is sad that due to his negative image in the industry people have spoken ill about him. I don’t know about others but I think very highly of him. He took care of me. When I went overboard with my masti he used to call me and say that I must take care. All those small gestures meant a lot to me. Shaktiji is trying very hard to come out of his negative image and he is doing this for his daughter Shraddha. He loves her a lot.
Who are the contestants with whom you gelled well?
It will be Pooja Bedi and also Raageshwari. Pooja is a very warm person. She shared her experience of motherhood with me and gave me a lot of suggestions. I connected pretty well with her. Raageshwari prayed for me and my baby’s well-being every morning. It’s really sweet.
Who do you think is the manipulator in the house?
I will say Shraddha Sharma. Shraddha goes and asks a person for his/her name and then will start staring at that person. Furthermore, after arguing with a person she will again become very sweet and pretend that nothing has ever happened. Her reactions are quite weird at times.
Whom do you want to win Bigg Boss season 5?
I want either Pooja Bedi or Shakti Kapoor to win Bigg Boss Season 5.
What are your future plans?
I am looking forward to the birth of my first child which will complete my family (smiles).
Any message for the readers?
I would like to say that always stay happy and don’t be greedy in life. If you are truthful then all good things will happen eventually. Never lose hope and enjoy life king-size. And please pray for my baby’s well being.
