Vida's and Laxmi's intimate private moment on Bigg Boss 5

Well, well, its foreign cousin Big Brother has a lot of sexual undertones, sexcapades, infidelity, thrown in to keep its audiences glued to the TV sets. But Celebrity Big Brother’s Indian version Bigg Boss has been relatively tame and sanitised over the past four years. However, Version 5 seems to be hotting up.

First, you had Shraddha Sharma who accidentally had a bosom problem in the house. Then you had Pooja Missra who did a rear expose. Both these interesting voyeuristic escapades did not make it to the screen as they were chopped on the editing table.

What viewers have been getting to watch on Bigg Boss 5 are the jealousies, the pettiness, grudges, insecurities and anger being displayed by the members of the house. Viewers have seen Mahek getting angry over the nominations; Shonali likely becoming the captain.

Now here’s another juicy and titillating piece of gossip which has emerged from the house. According to a very reliable source, there was a short interaction between two members earlier this week which had undertones of “lesbianism.” The little episode was captured by cameras in the house but the scene was cut, never to get on air.

According to unconfirmed sources, Vida and the transgender Lakshmi were seen chit-chatting in the room and something slipped from the former’s hand. She bent to retrieve what she had dropped. While getting up, Vida’s hand accidently brushed Lakshmi’s pubic region.

A flustered Vida apologized profusely. According to the source, to her surprise, Lakshmi looked at her with a satisfied smile on her face, saying, “it is my pleasure. It has been a long while since anybody has touched and excited me like that. Don’t worry, it felt extremely good.”

Taken aback by Lakshmi’s seductive and teasing response, Vida moved away, says the source. The incident left her cold. But on all accounts, things are clearly steaming up in the house. We wonder what’s next?

Shaheer's bonding good with Farhina on the sets of Navya

Handsome and sweet Shaheer Sheikh hails from the land of beauty and serenity, Jammu & Kashmir. The actor has now become a household name after his power-packed performance as Anant in Star Plus’ Navya.

Shaheer was earlier seen in Disney’s Kya Mast Hai Life. Shaheer – with his cute smile and chocolate boy looks – has a huge female following, which is quite impressive considering the short span of time he has spent in the industry.

Shaheer keeps extremely busy shooting these days and if you call him he won’t be available. But the actor has the courtesy to call back the moment he gets free. He spends most of his time on the sets now and hardly gets a day off. “It is fun to work on the sets of Navya. We do have arguments and tension rises while shooting, but that is part and parcel of life,” tells Shaheer while talking about work ambience.

Shaheer usually has reservations talking about his personal life but he doesn’t refrain from telling Tellychakkar about the bonding with his good friend and co-actor Farhina Parvez Jarimari (Appy of Navya). “I have a great rapport with Appy. We have lots of fun together. She is a great girl and it’s fun working with her,” said Shaheer with a smile.

Tellychakkar called Farhina to find her side of the story but in spite of repeated attempts she remained unavailable.

Furthermore, if not shooting Shaheer prefers to relax at home. “I have few friends and that too not from the industry. I do go out with them at times. But I mostly stay indoors as I am not a party lover. I like a peaceful environment,” ends Shaheer.

Nupur Alankar all set to enter Kuch Toh Log Kahenge

Sony’s Kuch Toh Log Kahenge, which is a remake of the popular Pakistani television drama Dhoop Kinare, has struck the right chords with the masses. And in order to add a touch of humour, the makers have decided to bring in a new character in the show.

A reliable source told us that Nupur Alankar, who was last seen in Star Plus’ Diya Aur Baati Hum, is all set to play the role of Shipra. She will be Priyanka’s bua in the show. Priyanka is one of the interns, like Dr. Nidhi (Kritika Kamra), working under Dr. Ashutosh (Mohnish Behl).

Viewers have witnessed the coldness between Dr. Nidhi and Dr. Ashutosh but they will once again meet at Priyanka’s wedding in the upcoming episodes. At the wedding, Dr. Nidhi and Dr. Ashutosh will meet Shipra bua.

The source further informed us that Nupur has already started shooting for the show and her look will be different from any of her previous characters. Her role is that of a happy-go-lucky person who loves to dress up and enjoy life. Her antics will put Dr. Nidhi and Dr. Ashutosh in awkward situations.

We talked to Nupur Alankar who confirmed her entry and told us, “Yes, I am doing an interesting cameo in Kuch Toh Log Kahenge. When Rajan Shahi – producer of the show – asked me to come to the sets, I had no idea about my character as he didn’t brief me about it. But I have always had great faith in him.”

Her entry will be aired on 24 October 2011.

Why the fuss over my panties? asks Rakhi Sawant

Bindass voluptuous babe Rakhi Sawant has been hitting the headlines recently. Not for her marriage and her break up later, not for her bold remarks, not even for her muhfat behaviour. Rather she has been in the news for flashing her panties.

Did we read: flashing her panties!!! Yes, we did. And to top it all, the entire hullabaloo has not irritated her, rather, it has amused her.

Apparently, some freelance photographers at a promotional event of her forthcoming film Loot, clicked some compromising shots of Rakhi and passed them off on websites as a wardrobe malfunction.

The pictures showing Rakhi posing on a big purple chair wearing a bright red dress, and guess what, there’s even a glimpse of her panties. Thank God she remembered to wear her thongs, otherwise we would have had the Sharon Stone scene straight out of Basic Instinct.

And can you imagine what would have happened then?

Her publicist Dale Bhagwagar says that the photographers had a gala time clicking her from lower angles “on noticing that she was wearing a short dress. Rakhi is a bit angry but more amused that people are calling this a wardrobe malfunction.”

The lady herself is totally cool about the entire incident in retrospect. In her usual dismissive style she says: “Why all this zabardasti ka hungama? Main toh waise hi itni hot hoon. Where was the need to do something as creepy as this?”

Creepy for you it may be Rakhi, but for the masses it sure was an interesting peep into something that’s supposed to be very private.
